Devil May Cry, released in 2001, developed and published by Capcom for the PS2, turned out to be a game that I never expected to become obsessed
with once I actually began to play it.
And now, you get to see how bad the obsession is.
It's funny because I grew up on playstation but I never really got to play DMC back when it was popular.
BUT NOW THAT I ACTUALLY GAVE THE GAME A TRY- HOLY SHIT ITS SO GOOD- There's just something about it that scratches my brain.
Also Dante is hot.
I suck at combos tho- However: Shotgun my beloved <3
The fixed camera angles in this game does make it more difficult, since I'm not used to it. Which makes enemies
LIKE THIS FUCKING CAT --->
SO MUCH MORE FUCKING ANNOYING TO KILL. FUCK THIS CAT.
The bridge. This fucking bridge. I hate it. My DUMBASS had to go through it like 5 or 6 times, JUST TO KEEP FALLING INTO THAT STUPID UNDERWATER FIGHT SECTION
and you wanna know WHY?!
BECAUSE OF THIS MOTHERFUCKER ->
It took me so damn long to kill it, to the point that I specifically made a savestate [I played this on an emulator] JUST as the fight starts so I didn't have to go through
the whole damn cutscene every single time.
But at least the song is a banger. One of my favorites.
And when I did do it, the fucker chased me down the hallway and I immediately bolted to the door on the left to avoid the entire chase sequence.
Aside from me ranting about the gameplay though, I have to say, Dante does something to me. Even in his shitty [but not actually] PS2 glory with the curse
of early 2000s voice acting. He is actually really cool. Love the wacky-wohoo pizza-man.
Although if you think about it, he really is just a cvnty version of Leon-
Anyway, that's all for now, I will keep ranting more though as I update it further. Maybe I'll do the whole series, who knows.
